The exciting happenings in European politics within the past few weeks, the breakdown of democracy and ever increasing number of dictatorships draws our attention more critically to our own government.

The student government under which our high school is being run is a working machine which is comparable to the great one which causes the wheels of the United States to be ever in motion. If this government of the United States should stop its operation, how would these United States Stand?

Let us not cause our fine student government to fall to pieces.

At present it is doing wonderful work and is being looked up to by student governments of neighboring high schools, for its commendable organization. Why not boast it yourself ? Find out more about it.

An excellent way is by having a more thorough discussion of Student Council questions in the homeroom.

Your representatives were selected to carry your ideas back to the Council. Therefore, through them we urge you to keep in touch with the organization of the Council and its activities.
