What a thrill to find a real true Haldane student newspaper on my desk this morning! I have skimmed it, and look forward to reading very closely.

You students are all very busy, I know. It is so encouraging that you have devoted yourselves to creating an outlet for your own voices, opinions, concerns, and, of course, news. The occasional inserts in The [Highlands] Current are nice, and the lit mag is wonderful; but this dedicated paper by and for

Haldane fills a particular niche. It is fantastic. (I know you all express yourself online, too, in creative and meaningful ways. I may be old, but to me there is something about the deliberation and lasting quality of a newspaper that makes it a different endeavor.)
