“My senior year prom was at Hotel Thayer. It was my favorite of the venues for the proms I went to; I was lucky enough to attend prom all four years of high school at Haldane. The photographer at this current year’s prom is the SAME photographer that was at my senior prom at Thayer. I feel it is so special to stand on the lawn of Thayer, at West Point, and look across the River at our town and school.”

“My senior prom experience was that I couldn’t WAIT to graduate in a few days. I had my hair done in an updo, and I hated it, but was happy later because the weather was hot. My prom date was my high school boyfriend. We spent the whole night having a great time by dancing with our friends more than each other and we broke up the next day. Neither of us was sad about it. Our prom song was “Forever Young” by Alphaville. It was the start of a great summer!”

“I went to senior prom with one of my good friends, Mikayla. We are still friends today! You can’t see it in this picture, but we used a cutting of her dress for a pocket square on my jacket. The Prom was held at the Thayer Hotel at West Point overlooking the Hudson which was beautiful.”
